Also, if any additional documents are required they will need to be sent to the US Embassy in Nur-Sultan. If a case is selected for interview that interview must be conducted in the US Embassy in Nur-Sultan. Visa renewals by interview waiver: Starting from September 14 th, all new interview waiver cases will be reviewed by the US Embassy in Nur-Sultan. Please continue to monitor this site for information on when we will return to routine visa operations. Mission will extend the validity of your payment (known as the MRV fee) until December 31, 2021, to allow all applicants who were unable to schedule a visa appointment as a result of the suspension of routine consular operations an opportunity to schedule and/or attend a visa appointment with the already paid fee.
